Elizabeth Tipson, m.AmSAT, teaches Alexander Technique in her studio in north central Baltimore City. She is a graduate of the ATMidAtlantic teacher training course and is certified to teach Alexander Technique by the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSAT).

Particular interests include using AT in daily activities; AT for medical, nursing, and allied health professionals; AT for parents; AT’s relationship to emotional and psychological growth; increasing diversity within AT; and building community around AT.

Elizabeth currently serves as leader of Alexander Technique Teachers of Baltimore. Prior to receiving her AmSAT certification, she earned a BA in art history from Carleton College and an MS from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, Clinical Nurse Leader program. She lives in Baltimore with her family.
